Start with your business records
Recorded income, expenses and supported deductions form the business part of your estimate.
Add the rest of your income
Enter salary and tax withheld, bank interest, dividends, rental income or capital gains where relevant.
See the working behind the result
Review income tax, supported offsets, Medicare, HELP and tax already paid. The result shows an estimated amount still to pay or a refund.
Keep the records behind your deductions
Save receipts, log business use and keep the details behind each claim. Category guidance helps you organise the records for you and your accountant to check.

Does Bilbee lodge my BAS or tax return?
No. Bilbee prepares estimates, worksheets and records for review. You or your registered agent handle lodgement. It doesn't pay the ATO or transfer money into a tax account for you.
Can I use it if I'm not registered for GST?
Yes. You can use the income tax estimate and set-aside tools without GST registration. GST tracking and the Simpler BAS worksheet depend on your business settings.
What if I also have a day job?
Add your salary and the tax withheld from your payslip or income statement. Bilbee combines those figures with your business records and other supported income. It doesn't import your salary automatically.
Why is tax from my business different from my remaining bill?
The business figure estimates the extra tax your business profit adds. Your remaining bill or refund also takes account of your other income, tax withheld, credits and recorded PAYG instalments. They answer different questions, so the amounts can differ.
Does the estimate predict my future income?
It's based on the records and income figures you've entered. Update them as the year changes. It can't know about future work or costs you haven't added, and it isn't a guaranteed final bill.
What happens after I lodge a BAS?
You can lock the period to protect its records. Record GST payments and PAYG instalments when you've paid them, so Bilbee can account for those amounts. Marking a period as lodged isn't the same as paying it.
Is this tax advice, and what isn't covered?
No. Bilbee uses published ATO rates to estimate from your records. It doesn't cover every tax situation: foreign income, trust and partnership distributions, personal work-related deductions from employment and some concessions aren't modelled. Check the working, any warnings and your deductions with a registered tax agent before relying on the figures.
